Grocery Store Front for Drug Ring: Darjeeling Police Busts Operation, Seizes Drugs & Cash

• Darjeeling police busted a drug dealing operation run under the guise of a grocery store in Khalpara, Naxalbari.
• The raid, based on secret information, led to the recovery of 12 bottles of banned cough syrup, 11 grams of brown sugar, and Rs 1.12 lakh in cash.
• Sunil Singh alias Sonua was arrested for drug dealing; he had previously been arrested on similar charges.
• Police sources indicate Sunil Singh resumed his drug business after release from jail, using the grocery store as a front.
• The arrested individual will be produced before the Siliguri Sub-divisional Court.
