Horrific Bus Accident in Haldia: Family of Three Perishes, Over 20 Injured

• A major bus accident occurred at Ghosh More in Sutahata police station area on the Haldia-Mecheda State Highway.
• Arup Mandal (50), Pratima Mandal (45), and their daughter Sujata Mandal (13) died on the spot after their motorcycle was hit by the speeding bus.
• The bus, traveling from Haldia Township towards Kukrahati, lost control, hit a PH drinking water pipe, and then collided with the motorcycle.
• Over 20 bus passengers sustained injuries; 10 critically injured were transferred from Haldia Sub-Divisional Hospital to Tamralipta Government Medical College and Hospital.
• The deceased family, residents of Krishnanagar village, Sutahata, were en route to a relative's house.
