Jiaganj Accessibility Boost: New Bridge Ends Long Wait, Saves 15 KM Travel

• A new 18-meter bridge, costing 49 lakh rupees, will be built at Muniyarpul Ghat in Gudhia Shimuldanga, Tentulia, by the Zilla Parishad.
• The bridge will significantly ease access to Jiaganj, fulfilling a long-standing demand and benefiting thousands from Gudhia Shimuldanga and Shibnagar village.
• Currently, locals travel an extra 15 kilometers to reach Jiaganj, wasting time and money, especially during monsoon.
• The project aims for quick completion within months, benefiting students, businessmen, and drivers by improving connectivity and goods vehicle movement.
• Pillars will be raised from under the water with concrete slabs on top, benefiting residents on both sides of the river.
