Lamppost Learning: Kultali Village Transforms Roads into Open-Air Classrooms
•
Deulbari village in Kultali, South 24 Parganas, has launched an innovative educational initiative inspired by Ishwar Chandra Vidyasagar.
•
Approximately 40-45 electric poles along village roads now display 'Barnaparichay' letters, English numbers, and basic arithmetic operations.
•
Local resident Pulak Mondal spearheaded the project, cleaning neglected poles and painting educational content with community help.

•
Pulak Mondal also started 'Ek Takar Pathshala' to further education in the Sundarbans, drawing inspiration from Vidyasagar's learning methods.
