•A lorry violently crashed into a tree on the Kanthi-Belda State Highway in East Medinipur.
•The accident occurred around 10 PM on Wednesday at Gour Pahari Tajpur bus stand under Egra police station.
•The lorry cleaner was seriously injured but miraculously survived, returning from the jaws of death.
•Locals promptly rescued the injured cleaner and sent him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
•Egra police cleared the blocked highway; lower speed averted a greater disaster.
