Malda Mango Farmers Alerted: Prevent Disease, Boost Yield Amid Rain Forecast

•Malda mango farmers advised to take precautions due to upcoming rain and cloudy weather, increasing humidity and risk of diseases/pests.
•Plant Protection Scientist Anbadhagan P warns of 30-90% yield loss from blossom blight (anthracnose) and powdery mildew if not treated.
•Spray Azoxystrobin Difenoconazole or Azoxystrobin 23 SC (1ml/liter) before or after rain for disease control.
•For mango hoppers and honey pests, spray Tolphenpyrad (1ml/liter) when flowers drop and fruits are marble-sized.
•Fruit Scientist Shivam recommends Boron (2g/liter) during flowering and Fasal Prabhat (5g/liter) after flowering for tree health and fruit set.
