Malda Police Bust: Fake Currency, Firearms Seized; Three Arrested in Dual Operations

• Malda police recovered fake currency worth five lakh rupees, four firearms, and five cartridges in two separate operations.
• Abdul Barek was arrested with fake currency, suspected to be smuggled from Siliguri for distribution.
• In another operation, Ghulam Rabbani and Mizanur Rahman were arrested with firearms, believed to be sourced from Bihar.
• Malda SP Abhijit Bandyopadhyay stated the arrested individuals will be produced in court for further interrogation.
