Murshidabad gets modern AC hospital: No more long journeys for treatment!

• A new 50-bed hospital with state-of-the-art facilities has been built at Karnasubarna Block Primary Health Center in Murshidabad.
• The hospital features male, female, and pediatric wards, a modern operation theater, and a centralized oxygen pipeline system.
• Locals from Kandi, Nabagram, and Beldanga constituencies, who previously traveled to Baharampur or private hospitals, will now receive treatment locally.
• The hospital is fully air-conditioned, and the pediatric ward is designed for recreational play to ease children's treatment.
• Murshidabad District Chief Medical Officer, Dr. Sandeep Sanyal, stated the goal is to provide radical change in medical services and ensure no patient is turned away due to lack of beds.
