A teenager from Bhupatinagar, Purba Medinipur, cycled 70 km alone to Digha, driven by a strong desire to see the sea.

He embarked on the journey without informing his family or having money, as his parents couldn't take him due to work.
•
Green Guard Shobhan Jana from Civil Defense Disaster Management Group found him wandering near Digha's Biswa Bangla One Park.

Shobhan Jana questioned the boy, rescued him, and handed him over to the police, subsequently contacting his family.

Family members arrived in Digha and were reunited with the teenager, expressing immense relief.
