Son caught moving mother's body from roof in Malda; police investigate mysterious death.

•Elderly woman Lakshmi Das (55) found dead on the roof of her Malda home in Baluchar Muchipara.
•Her elder son, Krishna Das, was caught by neighbors trying to move the body from the three-story roof.
•Deceased was ailing; local councilor Poli Sarkar stated both sons were alcoholics and neglected their mother.
•Lakshmi Das's husband was a police constable; younger son Bikash Das works at Malda Correctional Home.
•Englishbazar Police detained Krishna Das and sent the body to Malda Medical College Hospital for post-mortem.
