Abakkus Mutual Fund Launches Small-Cap Equity Scheme; NFO Opens Feb 26
•Abakkus Mutual Fund announced the launch of Abakkus Small Cap Fund, an open-ended equity scheme.
•The New Fund Offer (NFO) for the small-cap fund will be open from February 26 to March 12.
•The fund will primarily invest 65% to 100% of its assets in small-cap company equities, with flexibility for other equities, debt, and money market instruments.
•Small-cap companies are defined by SEBI as those ranked 251st onwards by full market capitalization.
•Managed by Sanjay Doshi, the scheme aims for long-term capital appreciation, benchmarking against the NIFTY SmallCap 250 Total Return Index (TRI), with a minimum investment of ₹500.
