PNB Ends Free RuPay Platinum Lounge Access: New Spending Rules Apply From April 1

• Punjab National Bank (PNB) will discontinue complimentary domestic airport lounge access for RuPay Platinum debit cards from April 1, 2026.
• From April 15, 2026, lounge access will require a minimum quarterly spending of ₹5,000 on point-of-sale or e-commerce transactions.
• Spending between January 1 and March 31 makes cardholders eligible for lounge access from April 15 to July 14.
• This revision applies only to domestic airport lounges; other debit card benefits remain unchanged.
• PNB aims to align lounge privileges with updated usage criteria and ensure equitable access for active card users.
