Homemade Ghan Jeevamrut: Boost Soil, Bumper Harvest, Big Profits!
•Ghan Jeevamrut, an inexpensive cow-based fertilizer, restores soil's natural structure and provides essential nutrients.
•It minimizes farming costs, produces chemical-free crops, and benefits human health and the environment.
•To prepare, mix 100 kg indigenous cow dung, 2 kg jaggery, 2 kg gram flour, 1 kg soil from under an old banyan/peepal tree, and 5 liters cow urine.
•Form cakes, dry them in the shade to preserve microorganisms, and store for up to 6 months.
•For field use, grind cakes, mix with farmyard manure, and spread in moist soil; for standing crops, place cakes near plant bases for water-activated nutrition.
