Litchi Blight & Stink Bug Threat: Protect Your Crop from Scorched Leaves & Falling Fruits
•
Litchi trees face blight disease and stink bug infestation as blossoms appear, threatening the entire crop.
•
Blight disease, caused by fungi, scorches leaves and tender shoots, starting with brown spots on leaf tips.
•
Stink bugs, pink or brown, suck sap from buds, leaves, flowers, and fruits, causing them to blacken and fall.
•
Experts recommend spraying Mancozeb or Copper Oxychloride for blight; Carbendazim or Chlorothalonil for severe cases.
•
For stink bugs, remove and burn affected parts, shake trees in the morning to collect and destroy pests.
