February Heatwave: Sun Blazes at 37°C, Thunderstorms Hit East Godavari
•Despite February, temperatures soar to 37°C in Nandigama and Kurnool, with Visakhapatnam 2-3.5 degrees above normal.
•Statewide high temperatures are making it difficult for people to go out, prompting use of water bottles and umbrellas.
•A low-pressure area in Southwest Bay of Bengal is strengthening into a deep depression, merging with an upper air cyclonic circulation.
•Light to moderate rains with thunderstorms are forecast for East Godavari on Sunday and Monday.
•Light rains are also expected in Eluru, West Godavari, Guntur, NTR, Krishna, Chittoor, Tirupati, and Annamayya districts, creating contrasting weather.
