Vontimitta Brahmotsavams Begin with Haridra Ghatan; Sitarama Kalyanam on April 1

• The annual Brahmotsavams at Srikodandaramaswamy Temple, Vontimitta, Kadapa district, commenced with the sacred Haridra Ghatan ceremony.
• Haridra Ghatan, the ritual of pounding turmeric, marks the beginning of the Sitarama Kalyanam festival, with fresh turmeric used for deity rituals and 'talambaralu'.
• TTD and the AP government are organizing the Brahmotsavams and Sitarama Kalyanam grandly, with the main Kalyanam scheduled for April 1 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM.
• Ankurarpanam is on March 26, Sri Rama Navami Asthanam on March 27, and Pushpayagam on April 5.
• APSRTC is arranging special buses for devotees to attend the celebrations and witness the Sitarama Kalyanam.
