• The world's largest Shivalinga, under construction for 10 years in Mahabalipuram, Tamil Nadu, has arrived in Bihar.
• It will be installed in the under-construction Virat Ramayan Mandir in Kaithwalia village, East Champaran district.
• The 33-foot long, 210-metric ton Shivalinga, carved from a single black granite monolith, also features 1008 Sahastralingams.
• Its journey began on November 21 from Mahabalipuram; a grand welcome is set for January 5 in Gopalganj, with installation on January 17 in Kesariya.
• The Virat Ramayan Mandir, a dream project of Acharya Kishore Kunal, will be the world's largest temple upon completion.
