• The Ministry of Labour and Employment's decision to keep the All India Consumer Price Index for Industrial Workers (AICPI-IW) stable at 148.2 for December 2025 has made this DA hike possible.
• Manjeet Singh Patel, President of the All India Employees Federation, confirmed the expected increase from 58 percent to 63 percent.
• The DA revision is due from January 2026, with official announcement and implementation expected in March or April 2026, including arrears.
• Transport Allowance will also increase by the same percentage as DA, varying based on pay level and city category (X, Y, Z).
