Farmers to Get KCC Loans in 15 Minutes Without Paperwork in Bihar

•Bihar farmers can now get Kisan Credit Card (KCC) loans in just 15 minutes through a mobile app, eliminating the need for extensive paperwork.
•The new facility leverages the Farmer ID mobile app, which stores all farmer and farming information, making the loan process seamless.
•Initially, 75 lakh PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana beneficiaries in Bihar will be eligible for this quick loan service.
•A Farmer ID (Farmer Registry) is mandatory to avail the 15-minute KCC loan; currently, only 55.12% of Bihar farmers have one.
•Farmers can create a Farmer ID online via the Bihar AgriStack Portal, mobile app, CSC, Basudha Kendra, or Panchayat camps.
