• Choorchoo Nari Urja Farmer Producer Company Limited, started by Hazaribagh women with just 100 rupees, achieved a 4 crore turnover in 2025-26.
• The company, primarily involved in agriculture and allied activities, aims for a 4.5 crore turnover this financial year.
• Approximately 7000 women are associated, with 4000 shareholders, many uneducated or with minimal schooling.
• Led by President Sumitra Devi and CEO Saurav Kumar, the company provides financial aid, technical support, certified seeds, and marketing for farmers' produce.
• It aims to make small farmers millionaires and ensure an annual income of 1.20 lakh rupees for each associated woman, setting an example for Jharkhand.
