Mandaviya: PF-UPI Link by March, Withdraw Funds Directly from ATMs

• Union Minister Dr. Mansukh Mandaviya announced plans to link PF with UPI before March.
• This integration will enable employees to withdraw PF funds directly from ATMs.
• The government aims to simplify the currently complex PF withdrawal process.
• Up to 75% of PF funds can be withdrawn without specific reason; 25% retained for employment continuity and pension eligibility.
• PF accounts are already linked with bank, Aadhaar, UAN; debit cards/ATMs will gain PF functionality.

Why It Matters: PF will link with UPI by March, allowing easy ATM withdrawals and simplifying the process.
