KOMUL Milk Prices to Rise from March 18: Farmers Get Ugadi Gift

•Kolar District Cooperative Milk Producers’ Union (KOMUL) increases milk procurement prices from March 18.
•Procurement price rises from Rs 37.85 to Rs 39.85 per litre to encourage higher milk production.
•KOMUL President KV Nanjegowda calls the hike an Ugadi gift for farmers.
•Union also announces a festival bonus of Rs 75,000 for its 202 permanent staff members.
