•Delhi Metro's driverless trains (Unattended Train Operation - UTO) operate on the Magenta Line (fully driverless) and Pink Line (recently started), covering a combined 97 km.
•Delhi joins global cities like Singapore, Shanghai, Dubai, and Kuala Lumpur with driverless metro services; India's first fully automated Magenta Line was inaugurated on December 28, 2020.
•Removing the driver's cabin creates more space, allowing 50 additional passengers per train; passengers enjoy unique track views, record videos, and make reels.
•The Magenta Line (Janakpuri West to Botanical Garden) is fully driverless, while the Pink Line (Majlis Park to Shiv Vihar) is gradually being upgraded to be fully driverless.
•Driverless trains are continuously monitored for safety and smooth operations through control systems, sensors, and a central control room.
