नई दिल्ली. साल 1975 बॉलीवुड के इतिहास में एक मील का पत्थर था, क्योंकि यही वह साल था जब दुनिया को 'गब्बर सिंह' जैसा खतरनाक विलेन मिला. अमजद खान की रोंगटे खड़े कर देने वाली आवाज और खतरनाक एक्टिंग ने ऐसा डर पैदा किया कि इंडस्ट्री उन्हें सिर्फ विलेन के तौर पर ही देख सकती थी. लेकिन सिर्फ छह साल बाद, 1981 में एक डायरेक्टर ने कुछ ऐसा कर दिखाया जिसकी कल्पना भी नहीं की जा सकती थी. डायरेक्टर राकेश कुमार ने गब्बर सिंह को भगवान जैसा दोस्त बनाने का रिस्क लिया और नतीजा एक ऐसी फिल्म बनी जिसे आज एवरग्रीन माना जाता है- 'याराना.'
