New Vande Bharat Links Rajasthan-Gujarat; Two Services Discontinued

• A new Vande Bharat Express will connect Udaipur City (Rajasthan) with Asarwa (Ahmedabad, Gujarat), operated by North Western Railway.
• The Ministry of Railways approved this new service to enhance regional travel, business, and tourism.
• Two existing Vande Bharat services, Udaipur City-Agra Cantt and Udaipur City-Jaipur, will be discontinued from February 15 and February 14, 2026, respectively, as part of a route rationalization plan.
• The new Udaipur City-Asarwa Vande Bharat will run six days a week (not on Tuesdays), departing Udaipur at 6:10 AM and Asarwa at 5:45 PM.
• The train will have three stoppages at Zawar, Dungarpur, and Himmat Nagar, offering high-speed travel up to 160 km/h with modern facilities.
