জাঁকিয়ে শীত পড়েছে পশ্চিমবঙ্গে। রাজ্যের উত্তর থেকে দক্ষিণ, শীতে জবুথবু। কলকাতায় তাপমাত্রার পারদ নেমে গিয়েছে ১০ ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াসের ঘরে। বঙ্গোপসাগরে একটি নিম্নচাপ অঞ্চল তৈরি হয়েছে বলে জানিয়েছে হাওয়া অফিস। কিন্তু তার কোনও প্রভাব পশ্চিমবঙ্গের উপর পড়বে না। উত্তুরে হাওয়ার প্রবেশেও কোনও বাধা নেই। আগামী কয়েক দিনে তাপমাত্রা আরও কিছুটা কমতে পারে। হাড়কাঁপানো ঠান্ডা কিছুটা কমলেও শীতের স্পেল বজায় থাকবে। জমিয়ে শীতের মরশুম। শনিবার পর্যন্ত এইরকম জমিয়ে শীতের সম্ভাবনা। বেশ কিছু জেলায় সকালের দিকে বেশ কিছুটা সময় কুয়াশাচ্ছন্ন পরিবেশ। শীতল দিনের পরিস্থিতি বিভিন্ন জেলাতে।
