• The project spans 6 km across Raipur, Gadadharpur, Burul, and Bahirkunja regions, primarily in Burul.
• Plans include concreted riverbanks, lighting, increased greenery, seating areas, and a children's park.
• Homestay development is also being considered to accommodate growing tourist footfall.
• MP Abhishek Banerjee submitted the plan to the Irrigation Department; Kolkata businessmen are building resorts and picnic spots.
