• The Toll Plaza in Gujarat (NH-48, Vadodara-Bharuch stretch) is India's highest-earning toll plaza, collecting 2,043.81 crore rupees in 5 years.
• Shahjahanpur (Rajasthan), Jaladhulagori (West Bengal), Barjore (Uttar Pradesh), and Gharaunda (Haryana) complete the top 5 highest-earning toll plazas.
• Delhi and Mumbai toll plazas are not among the top 5 highest earners.
• NHAI provides 'Zero User Fee' passes to eligible local residents for daily commute, and 'barrier-free' tolling projects are underway at Gharaunda and Choryasi.
