•The 19-year-old film "Welcome" was a blockbuster hit, grossing Rs 117.91 crore worldwide on a budget of Rs 32 crore.
•Directed by Anees Bazmee, the film featured an ensemble cast of 18 Bollywood stars, including Akshay Kumar, Katrina Kaif, Nana Patekar, and Anil Kapoor.
•"Welcome" marked Akshay Kumar's first film to enter the Rs 100 crore club and was the second-highest-grossing Hindi film of 2007.
•The plot follows mobster Uday Shetty's (Nana Patekar) attempts to find a respectable family for his sister Sanjana (Katrina Kaif) to marry into, leading to comedic complications.
