•Released in 2003, 'Tere Naam' was a romantic tragedy starring Salman Khan and Bhumika Chawla, directed by Satish Kaushik.
•The film became a rage, with Salman Khan's hairstyle becoming a national trend and its music, composed by Himesh Reshammiya, topping charts.
•It was an official Hindi remake of the Tamil film 'Sethu', inspired by a real-life incident, and re-established Salman Khan as a bankable star.
•Despite a modest box office collection of Rs 14.53 crore net on a Rs 10 crore budget, it was considered profitable and gained cult status.
