Barmer's Mumtaz Overcomes Poverty, Joins Police Force; Inspires Rajasthan

• Mumtaz, from Junejo Basti, Shiv area, Barmer, overcame severe poverty and challenges to become a Police Constable.
• Her father passed away when she was six months old; she was the youngest of six sisters and faced immense financial hardship.
• Despite limited resources, she earned an MA in English Literature and Political Science, and a B.Ed.
• Secured second rank in OBC category and 25th overall in Jaisalmer district's Police Constable Recruitment Examination 2024.
• Inspired by Kiran Bedi, Mumtaz worked during college to fund her education and fulfill her father's dream.
