Ujjain's Mahakal Temple to Host Special 'Shiv Navratri' from Feb 6; Baba Mahakal in 9 Forms

• A special nine-day 'Shiv Navratri' festival will commence on February 6 at Ujjain's Shri Mahakaleshwar Temple, leading up to Mahashivratri on February 15, 2026.
• During Shiv Navratri, Lord Mahakal will appear in nine different forms daily, culminating in the 'Dulha Swaroop' (groom's attire) for Mahashivratri.
• Mahashivratri, celebrating the marriage of Lord Shiva and Goddess Parvati, will feature four-time puja and aarti, night bathing, and a special 'Sehra Darshan'.
• Preparations are underway, including cleaning of the sanctum sanctorum, temple wells, and painting, to be completed by February 6.
• Devotees can expect daily Rudrabhishek, 24-hour darshan, and various adornments of Baba Mahakal throughout the nine-day festival.
