Central Forces Arrive in Siliguri: Security Tightened Ahead of Elections

• Three companies of central forces have arrived in the Siliguri Commissionerate area, even before election dates are announced.
• Security preparations are being ramped up in North Bengal and other districts across the state.
• Jawans arrived at Siliguri Mahila Vidyalaya and have begun patrolling to strengthen security.
• Central forces have also been deployed in Naxalbari, Kharibari, and Phansidewa, with special surveillance in border regions.
• This deployment is part of 240 companies arriving statewide, following Election Commission instructions for peaceful and fair elections.
