Elephant Rampage in Bankura: Tusker Subdued, Lifted by Crane After Injuring Six

A giant tusker elephant rampaged through Jamdigri Rajar Bagan and Rautkhand in Bankura's Joypur, injuring six villagers and killing a cow.
•
The elephant attacked a father and daughter in their home, then threw a person in a field, causing widespread panic.
•
Forest Department and Joypur Police initially tried to guide the elephant back, but a large crowd agitated it further.
•
Tranquilizer darts were used to subdue the massive elephant after multiple attempts to control it failed due to the crowd.
•
The sedated tusker was then lifted by a crane and transported to another location, a rare sight witnessed by many.
