•The beloved Holong Forest Bungalow, destroyed by fire in June 2024, is being rebuilt in Jaldapara Holong.
•Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee virtually laid the foundation stone for the reconstruction.
•The bungalow, a key attraction for North Bengal tourism, will be rebuilt at a cost of 3 crore 62 lakh rupees.
•Alipurduar District Magistrate R. Vimala stated the new bungalow will resemble the original 1950s structure.
•Jaldapara DFO Praveen Kaswan confirmed the good news, anticipating a boost for Jaldapara National Park tourism.
