IMD Forecasts Soaring Temperatures in West Bengal, Rain Expected Next Week
•South Bengal to experience dry, hot, and uncomfortable weather with temperatures potentially reaching 40 degrees Celsius in western districts by early April.
•North Bengal's upper five districts (Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Alipurduar, Cooch Behar, Jalpaiguri) may see thunderstorms with gusty winds (30-40 km/h).
•Thunderstorm chances decrease on Friday and Saturday, with temperatures rising by 3-5 degrees Celsius across the state.
