Indian Railways Boosts Connectivity: Two New Trains to Stop at Malda Town Station
- •Indian Railways has announced that two new special trains, Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express and Radhikapur-SMVT Bengaluru Express, will now stop at Malda Town Station.
- •These trains aim to enhance travel between North Bengal and South India, improving connectivity for passengers.
- •The Alipurduar-SMVT Bengaluru Amrit Bharat Express (16597/16598) will run weekly, departing Bengaluru on Saturdays and Alipurduar on Mondays, stopping at 46 stations including Malda Town.
- •The Radhikapur-SMVT Bengaluru Express (16223/16224) will also run weekly, departing Bengaluru on Thursdays and Radhikapur on Sundays, with stops at 52 stations including Malda Town.
- •Both trains offer General Second Class and Sleeper Class coaches, with the Radhikapur Express also featuring air-conditioned coaches for passenger comfort.
