New Bus Route: Barasat to Dankuni Service Launched, Easing Commute for Thousands

• A new private bus service has been launched from Barasat to Dankuni, connecting North 24 Parganas and Hooghly districts.
• The route runs from Barasat Titumir Bus Stand to Dankuni Housing, passing through Madhyamgram, Birati, Airport Gate No. 3, Dunlop, Dakshineswar, Bally Halt, and Rajchandrapur.
• This service is expected to significantly ease travel for commuters from Barasat and surrounding areas to Dankuni and various parts of Howrah district.
• Utilizing the Belghoria Expressway, the new route promises shorter travel times and serves as an alternative to the old DN9/1 route.
• Initially, three new buses (WB 25V 9358, WB 25V 9397, WB 25V 9668) have been deployed, with potential for expansion based on passenger response.
