Purba Medinipur gets new Gholbagda Halt Station; 2 crore project fulfills long-standing demand

•Gholbagda Halt Station inaugurated in Purba Medinipur on Digha-Tamluk line, built at approximately two crore rupees.
•Fulfills long-standing demand from residents of Bhagwanpur-2, Patashpur-2, and Kanthi-3 blocks.
•Located midway between Nachinda and Heria stations, it will ease commuting for thousands.
•All local trains will now stop at Gholbagda, benefiting students, professionals, and businesses.
•Features include concrete seats, streetlights, and a ticket counter; inaugurated by ADRM Manisha Goyal and MLA Rabindranath Maity.
