Ram Navami 2026: Living Ramayana on Damodar Riverbed, Ram Temple from Sand!

• A unique sand art workshop in Gaitanpur Charmana, Purba Bardhaman, brought the Ramayana to life for Ram Navami 2026.
• Artists from across the state created a replica of the Ayodhya Ram Temple and various Ramayana scenes using 6 tractor-trolleys of sand from the Damodar River.
• Organized by 'Nature of the Canvas' and 'Gaitanpur Charmana Panchamukh Hanuman Temple', the event showcased devotion and art.
• Led by Ranganjib Roy, 10-12 artists depicted heroic tales of Hanuman and other Ramayana scenes, defying intense sun.
• The sandy banks of the Damodar transformed into an open-air art gallery, aiming to popularize sand art and the Ramayana story.
