India: 7-Day Weather Shift Brings Heavy Rain, Fog, Cold Wave, Snowfall

• A new Western Disturbance from December 13 will bring light rain and snowfall to the Western Himalayan region (J&K, Ladakh, Muzaffarabad, Himachal Pradesh) from December 13-16.
• Andaman & Nicobar Islands will experience strong winds (Dec 11-12) and rain with thunder/lightning (Dec 13-16) over the next 7 days.
• Dense fog and cold wave conditions are expected in several states; a cold wave warning is issued for Central Maharashtra, Marathwada, Telangana, North Interior Karnataka, and North Interior Odisha from Dec 11-13.
• Northeast states will see dense fog every morning until December 15; fishermen are advised to avoid sea areas from December 10-15.
