• Surendrakumar Dinanath Sharma, a former building worker, was identified as the thief through a CCTV camera installed in the bedroom in December 2025.
• On January 15, 2026, Pramod Pandey received an alert and saw Surendra Sharma stealing money from the wardrobe via CCTV footage.
• Surendra Sharma allegedly confessed to previous thefts, and Amboli police are currently investigating the case based on the CCTV evidence.
