Karnataka Land Row: BJP Alleges Rs 250 Cr 'Giveaway' for Congress Offices; Minister Hits Back
•
BJP MLC DS Arun accused Karnataka govt of allotting prime land worth crores to Congress at throwaway prices for party offices.
•
Urban Development Minister Byrathi Suresh rejected allegations, stating Cabinet approved allotments following due procedure.
•
Arun cited Tumakuru land (1 acre for Rs 8 lakh vs Rs 1.70 crore guidance value) as an example of alleged Rs 250 crore 'loot'.

Minister Suresh counter-attacked, claiming BJP also received land at concessional rates, citing a 10,000 sq ft plot for Rs 500.
•
Opposition Leader Chalavadi Narayanaswamy called it "daylight robbery" and questioned legality of Cabinet decisions for such allotments.
