4 Bangladeshi Women Rescued from Pune's Budhwar Peth Sex Trafficking Ring

•Four Bangladeshi women, lured to Pune with job promises, were trapped in Budhwar Peth and forced into prostitution.
•They were promised beauty parlor and tailoring jobs, but their phones and documents were confiscated, and they were confined.
•Acting on confidential information from Zone-1 DCP Hrishikesh Rawale, police raided Janata Building on March 5.
•A team led by Senior Inspector Prashant Bhasme rescued the four victims and took one man into custody.
•Case filed against Babu Bhaiyya alias Papa Sheikh, Bhopsingh Rajput, Meenakshi Ramesh Metri, and a Bangladeshi agent; a larger network is suspected.
