•Bhimashankar Jyotirlinga Temple in Pune closed for three months for a major 174 crore redevelopment project.
•Plan includes rehabilitating 125 families (110 houses) near the temple entrance to a new village 150 meters away.
•New village on 10.5 acres will feature a Gram Panchayat office, school, health center, parking, and heritage shops.
•Development aims to improve devotee access and traffic for the 2027 Kumbh Mela, expecting 1 lakh daily visitors.
•Villagers' consent for the new village will be sought on Gudi Padwa, with work expedited post-approval.
