Fake Gold Scam Busted: Two Arrested in Pune's Hadapsar Market, Shocking Past Revealed

•Pune Crime Branch's Anti-Extortion Cell arrested a notorious fake gold gang targeting elderly women.
•Dilip Vishwanath Swami (52) and Amol Babugiri (32) were caught in Hadapsar vegetable market with fake gold biscuits and a chain.
•Dilip Swami is a notorious criminal with prior cases of kidnapping and fraud registered against him.
•The gang confessed to stealing ornaments from an elderly woman in Kasba Peth and a mangalsutra in Karad, Satara district.
•Modus operandi involved offering cheap gold biscuits to gain trust, then stealing real ornaments; more crimes expected to be uncovered.
