Lonavala Cybercrime Bust: Police Raid 500 Villas, Uncover Rs 97 Lakh Share Trading Scam

•Pimpri-Chinchwad Cyber Police busted a gang involved in a Rs 97.70 lakh share trading fraud.
•Police raided 400-500 villas in Lonavala, uncovering cybercrime operations in tourist accommodations.
•Four youths – Monil Modi, Ravi Jat, Rudrapal Singh, and Hansh Verma – from Gujarat, MP, and Mumbai were arrested.
•The accused were controlled from abroad via web cameras and used multiple bank accounts to divert defrauded money.
•Laptops, 7 mobile phones, 14 debit cards, web cameras, and bank kits were seized; further investigation is ongoing.
