Pimpri-Chinchwad: Jowar Ration Stops, New Wheat-Rice Quotas Begin January

• Jowar distribution to Pimpri-Chinchwad ration cardholders will stop from January.
• Each ration cardholder will now receive 3 kg of wheat and 2 kg of rice per month.
• Under the Antyodaya scheme (from Jan 2026), beneficiaries will get 35 kg grain (21 kg wheat, 14 kg rice).
• Priority Household scheme families will receive 3 kg wheat and 2 kg rice per month.
• Over 2 lakh ration cards were cancelled in Pimpri-Chinchwad due to a verification drive.
