Pune Housewife Loses ₹55 Lakh in Share Market Cyber Fraud

• A housewife in Punawale, Pimpri-Chinchwad, Pune, was defrauded of ₹5,522,500 in a share market and IPO investment scam.
• Cyber fraudsters lured Gunjan Gaurav Atrawalakar (31) into an online group between July 28 and September 4, 2025, promising double profits.
• She was made to download an app via an unknown link, where initial fake profits were shown to gain trust.
• Under the pretext of 'capital verification' and further investment, she was coerced into depositing money into various bank accounts.
• The fraud came to light when she was unable to withdraw her invested funds, leading to a complaint at Ravet Police Station.
