•The lift got stuck between the sixth and seventh floors; while Dinesh tried to exit, the main cable broke.
•The lift plummeted from the seventh floor to the ground, causing fatal injuries to Dinesh.
•Police have booked 11 members of the society, including Chairman Pundalik Warke, for gross negligence in lift maintenance.
•An investigation is underway to check the lift's technical inspection report and potential safety regulation violations.
